Hodge podge post

Woo every pup and Girl Girl,

Today has been a lazy day so far... but according to the weather radar, this afternoon should have some thunder/lightening/rain excitement :( I don't know what to think about this, and I hope that Mom does not try that shirt thing again.

I assisted mom this morning and created this photo to the right. I hope you like it!!! Isn't that Magnolia bloom pretty? We have a big Magnolia tree in our backyard!

Oh, if you look up and to the right on my blog, you will see a click-able button to take you to Meeshka's blog. Her blogathon is coming up and she is accepting pledges for Harnessed to Hope Northern Breed Rescue. This is my first blogathon, but apparently Meeshka will be up for 24 hours straight posting a blog every 30 minutes. I am very excited about this.

Lastly, Tia has really been getting on my nerves lately. She apparently thinks that 5 a.m. is the time to wake up in the morning (for the past 2-3 weeks). She wakes up mom and dad by walking around the bed meowing. So, dad has to get out of bed and open the bedroom door so she can go downstairs and move all of my dog toys. Then, she sometimes reappears back in the bedroom with a sock, perhaps mom's underwear, a towel, or one of MY toys in her mouth (meowing the entire time). I do love her, but I don't understand why she can't wait until 7 a.m. to do all of this nonsense.

Oh well friends.. I hope you have a great day!!! Friday is almost here and that means SONIC! So anyone who wants to go with me (mom and dad will pick up the tab) is welcome. Come on over!!!

Hugs, Sitka

Last night my dad wanted to go to Sonic after seeing a commercial for the cookie dough blast. He is on a diet, so Mom didn't think that was a good idea. Then he says, "But we could take the pups." She still didn't cave. What a big meanie. Maybe I can go to Sonic with you.

Steve

PS. Is that your underwear that Tia is bringing to the bedroom? If so, why do you wear underwear?

Steve, that is totally not fair that your dad went to Sonic and our mom would not let you go :( Come on over and we will be sure to give you the FULL SONIC hookup (and everyone else too) - hamburgers, hotdogs, chicken, ice cream... all of the good stuff!!!

And ha roo.. not my underwear.. mom's underwear. I went in and modified that line on my post, ha roo!!

Hugs,
Sitka

Hmmm....the only Sonic I know is my buddy Sonic who lives with my buddies Elvis and Jasper. We don't have any of those restaurants here so I'd very much like to go with you this Friday!

We're going to get storms today, too. The humans gave me some pill, like that'll make the storms go away.

Ha roo, Sitka! Oooh, yeah, I'm up for Sonic! Dave wants to know if we'll bring him back a Watermelon slushie - that sounds great, doesn't it? and 257 cheeseburgers. What? Oh, he said "make it 259; the girls each want one." Ha roo roo roo!
GREAT picture! You two look very serene up in the magnolia tree!

Oh Sitka, Tia must not have set her clock correctly. You'all have to do something about that. Sonic sounds good. I like strawberry.
Your mom is getting really good with the pictures. We like seeing what she will come up with next. Maybe she can catch Tia in the act one morning.

We always wake up our humans at that time so they can go to work - we even do it on weekends just to be sure. They need to make money so they can take us to Rita's for custard or Dairy Queen for soft serve. We don't have Sonic here, but our stuff is very good. Oh, yea, and they have to get us cookies, lots and lots of cookies

I've never been to Sonic but I love ice cream! Georgia is kinda far from Connecticut! Maybe I'd better start hitch-hiking now!

Shhhh, don't say bad things bout the kitty, I want mommy to get me one. We would love to go to Sonic with you but mom says GA is too far. She stops at Sonic all the time on the way home from the dog park, but does she order anything just for us? NOOOO Greedy human. We are starving after all that running, playing and swimming at the park and all we get is one little bite of her burger. The guy that brought the food out last time was scared to come to the car when he saw us. Do we really look so scary? Does that ever happen to you?

Oh, I think my Mean Sister Fig is channeling Tia - she's been up early for the past week. Except she doesn't just play with my toys, she sits by the bed and CRIES and WHINES and BARKS until we get up. Crazy dog.

That looks like a very nice place to take a nap, you two! Your mom does neat things with your pictures. We wish we had a Sonic up here in Minnesota. Mom gets it down in Iowa when she goes there on business, but never brings back any for us. We'll take some bacon cheese burgers please!! Belly Rubs, Tasha & Eva

Hi Sitka,
Tia must be running on my wittle bruther, Juneau's, time. Since mommy & daddy brought him home I can't get my be-woo-ty sleep at night. He keeps waking up in the middle of the night to go pee. Then gets up before mommy's alarm goes off cuz he has had enuf sleep, but I haven't! I have never been to a Sonic. Wish I lived closer to you so I could come!
