The Harbor Report: Part 1 of 2

Puppy Woos every pup! Cornelia Marie here with this week's Harbor Report. This will be a two part because it would make one very long post and I don't think my attention span is that great yet. So, I will do what I can, but really need to get back to playing with my stuffies.

Dutch Harbor, Alaska
Current Conditions: 50F, 10C, Cloudy with chance of rain

It seems since I got to my new home that we have acquired quite the collection of sea creatures. Humm... I wonder why? Anyroo, I thought today I would introduce you to all of my new friends.

First a box arrived from Khyra and her mom. It is the largest octopus and lobster I have ever seen. Ok, it is the only octopus and lobster that I have seen, but that is not the point. Sitka took to the octopus while I decided the lobster would be the best fit for me.

Aren't those the coolest ever??? Here are a few more photos of Sitka and I with the octopus! We like to play tug of war with it!!!

Awww, look at my sissy! For the most part, we are good toy sharers.

Oh mom got this cool video of us and the toys! Check it out. Mom is funny. Please don't pay much attention to her.

Ha rooo! I am not sure why Sitka tried to burry the octopus in the sofa. It sure looked fun. Mom didn't let me try it, however.

Well stay tuned to next Tuesday for part 2! I have more creaturers to introduce you to!

Wooo friends!!!! Today's post features a hidden sister. Can you find Cornelia Marie? Look hard. Do you see her?

Give up? Let me help. Cornelia Marie, where are you? Can you please show yourself?

Ahhhh there she is. Can you see under her feet? She has discovered the AC vent. She is quite a hog when it comes to it. Every time the AC kicks on, she runs over there, slams into the blinds (her choice) and cools her belly. Take a glance.

Finally for today.... there have been SEVERAL requests for puppy paw photos. So, I am happy to deliver that for you all!

Well today is FRIDAY and you know what that means? SONIC! SONIC! SONIC VIDEO! and SONIC! I hope lil' bit doesn't think she is getting my ice cream.

The Harbor Report

It is Tuesday, so you know what that means? It is time for the Harbor Report!

Dutch Harbor, Alaska
Current Conditions: 50F, 10C and Overcast

I wish we had those conditions here. It is SO hot here. We had some storms roll through last night and I think I heard mom say we are going to have some more tonight too. I wanted to share two videos with you all today. Apparently I take after my Unkey Tubey (alot). He yells at stuff, so do I. He likes to get up high, so do I. Yesterday, I jumped onto the coffee table. I didn't knock anything off, but I stood there for that brief second (yes, one second only) so proud of what I had accomplished... then mom snatched (she gently picked me up) me off the table, told me no, and sat me on the floor. My unkey also stomps his foot. I have not learned that, but I feel I will soon.

So, back to this yelling. There were two specific things this past week that caused me to tell it just what i thought about it.

Here I am yelling at a toy...

Here I am yelling at the doorstopper...

Well, I hoped you enjoyed listing to me today. Sitka asked me to let you all know that we are sorry we are behind (again) on visiting blogs. We promise to catch up over the next few days!

Odds and Ends...

Meow friends, Tia here tonight. I just finished my dinner, so I feel really good. I am taking a break from my bath to send my friends a little Hello! I have several "housekeeping" needs to tend to in my post tonight.

First: I would like to thank my handsome boyfriend, Wilber, for the meowsome award Cool Cat Award that he presented me with. (P.S. Echo also awarded this to my little sister, Cornelia Marie. She sends her woos of thanks.)

Second: Did you notice our new header? I would like to give a shot out to Cubby, who did the photos for us. Here are the larger versions of the photos for you to see. Pretty khool, huh?

Third: I wanted to make sure you all were aware of three DWB members who will be participating in the Day of Blogs next weekend. They will make one post every 30 minutes for 24 hours! Please take a moment to visit their blogs and learn more about the organizations that they are raising money for. We are supporting ALL of them.

Forth, and final, let's talk about my sister, Cornelia Marie. I have to say, she is not half bad. She has not chased me, which is a good thing. She did try to nip my tail, but I turned around and promptly told her that was unacceptable. The only thing that bugs me is that when I am up on something, she just barks and barks and barks. I surely hope this is a phase that she will grow out of! I gave given her a few swats.

Well friends, I think that is about it for tonight. I need to get back to my bath. I hope you all had a great weekend!

Outside Zoomies and Pool Time!!!!

Mom told me that we could have pool time today. Hot diggity dog! The one thing that mom failed to mention was I would be not alone! Well, that is ok. I get to dig in the water, so I am cool with that. I am adapting to my little sister. She is pretty cool times (except when she tries to bite my tail or my collar tags). Hope you enjoy some photos from our outside time this morning. Thank dog it was still cool. But the heat of the day is upon us!!! (Sorry, mom totally was a slacker and forgot to take videos). Here we are waiting for the pool to be prepared.

Oh wait... Zoom Zoom Zoom! Outside Zoomies are the best. No hardwood floor to make us slide about.

POOL TIME! I did my best to teach Cornelia Marie some pool tips since this is her first time in one with me). Let's see how she did.

Step 1 - Stick your butt in the air and bite at the water coming out of the hose.

Step 2: Oh wait... maybe this should be step 1 - "how to get into the pool".....

Step 3 - if mom puts down the water hose, you must immediately inspect it, then ask for her to start spraying again. (Looks like she got this one).

Step 4: ALWAYS run counterclockwise in the pool while chasing the water. (Ok, she didn't quite get this one. Maybe next time).

Step 5 - After all that fun, lay down in the water and chill. (She didn't quite get this one either).

FUN TIMES! The final step is to chill on the sofa once you come in and try to dry off. But you have to wait for the mom to put some sort of spread on it so you don't soak it completely.

Have a great weekend everyone. I think Tia is going to try to make a post this weekend too!!!

Hugs, Sitka

The Harbor Report

Good evening my new friends.... Guess what day it is? It is Tuesday and that means it is time for the Harbor Report with Cornelia Marie. My big sis' friend, Ari, starts off his blog posts with something really cool, and I would like to do the same.

Dutch Harbor, Alaska
Current Conditions: 55F, 13C and Overcast

It is so cool to meet all of you. Thank you for the nice welcomes that you left on the post that my big sis' did Saturday night / Sunday morning. I can't wait to meet all of you and I hope that you will be my friend like you are friends to Sitka and Tia.
I have so many things to share. Mom helped me pick two things to share with you all today. When I got to my new home Sunday night (after an 8 hour drive from Memphis), she gave me something called a Puppy Wubba. It is SO cool. It makes noise, it is fun to shake, and it is the perfect size for my mouth. Check me out with it!

Mom says that I do the Bounce, Hop, Pounce, and Bark. Wanna see for yourself??

I also had an exciting day today. I went to the VET! It was pretty cool, I have to admit. At first I didn't want to walk into the room, but mom talked sweet to me and I bounced right in. The vet was very impressed by how calm I was. The tech also liked how I was named after a boat from the Deadliest Catch. I thought that was pretty cool. Oh, today, I am 12 weeks old and I weigh 16 pounds! Here I am being patient.

Well, I hope you enjoyed the first edition of the Harbor Report! I will return next Tuesday, with the next report, but maybe Sitka and Tia will let me post before then.

Puppy Woos, Cornelia Marie

P.S. Mom said that our new blogger header is in the works....

Our Ship Has Come In…

Greetings from Memphis, TN.....

It is my proud honor to introduce you all to my little sister, D’Azul’s Cornelia Marie.

She sure is a bundle of energy!

Let me tell you about my sister. Cornelia Marie was born on April 22, 2008. She is the niece of our very own TURBO (who is also my cousin)! She was born to D'Azul's En Vogue Salsa Queen, Gloria, and Champion D'Azul's El Presidente, Juarez. She has 3 sisters – the late Hilde (Godspeed sweet girl), Skipper and Dawn. She also has one brother, Shinzou (means Jonathan). If you want to see more photos of these cute pups, please check out Shinzou’s blog, or the D’Azul Siberian's blog.

Here they all are the day they were born:

Where does the "ship" come from? Every pup in Gloria and Juarez’s litter was named after ships on the hit show the Deadliest Catch on the Discovery channel. How cool is that? My sister was named after the ship, the Cornelia Marie. For those of you who don’t know what the show is about, Wikipedia says, “The show is a documentary-style reality television series that documents the events aboard fishing boats in the Bering Sea during the Alaskan king crab and Opilio crab fishing seasons.”

Since Cornelia Marie is originally from Missouri, we drove to Memphis, TN to pick her up. I have never been to TN before (and getting there required me to go through Alabama and Mississippi, two more states I have never been to), so this is just another state to add to the states that I have been to.

Anyroo, here are a few photos of our meet and greet in Memphis! (FYI, Cornelia Marie is the red and white). Her and her sisters had play time before crashing out in their crate!

Please join Tia and myself in welcoming the newest member of our pack, Cornelia Marie. Stay tuned on Tuesdays, otherwise known as The Harbor Report (with Cornelia Marie), when Cornelia Marie will take over the blog!

The time has come....;

Well friends, puppers, kitties, Girl Girl.... the time has come. Yesterday mom got out the "green bag". When the "green bag" comes out, I KNOW that means that we are going on a trip. Since then, Mom has been racing about the house, packing food, bowls, clothes, treats.... she is making me tired with all of the "moving about" that she is doing. Tia just sits on her chair watching.

Mom told Tia that she has to stay here. We don't want her to do the horka dance in the car. Mom told Tia that her buddy Mr. L is coming over to feed, pet, and give her medicine. Tia LOVES Mr. L. He will sit on the sofa and just rub her tummy for as long as she wants.

Of course I am going! I love going on trips with mom and dad. We have a long drive tomorrow. Hopefully tomorrow night I will be able to update you all to reveal the super secret surprise, but it may be Sunday night. So, please be patient with me in these last few days. It is going to be good... and I give the surprise and the trip FOUR PAWS UP! Well they are kind of sideways in the photo, but woo know what I mean.

In a week...

Yo Yo Yo Puppers and Kitties....

Not much excitement going on here except some thunder storms. I am not too happy about them since I didn't get my beauty sleep from the fireworks from last night. Speaking of, I hope that everyone had a nice 4th of July.

Several of you have wondered what my countdown thing means. Well, you will find out soon enough. I know several of you know, and some of you, I think, are close to figuring it out. Your wait is about over!!! It won't be long now until our ship is here. I think it is going to be pretty khool!!!

Sharing with Tia

Wooo friends! I just wanted to share a quick post with you all today about my sister, Tia. She has always enjoyed my water bowl in the kitchen. I am not sure why, since she can't reach it... well, until mom got me a new food bowl. Check this out... she doesn't even have to climb up onto the top of the bowl like she used to.

Now it is kitty self serve sized. Fortunately for her, I don't get jealous over my food bowl. See, here I am trying to enjoy water with her.

I love my sister!!!!
