Greetings from Memphis, TN.....
It is my proud honor to introduce you all to my little sister, D’Azul’s Cornelia Marie.
She sure is a bundle of energy!
Let me tell you about my sister. Cornelia Marie was born on April 22, 2008. She is the niece of our very own TURBO (who is also my cousin)! She was born to D'Azul's En Vogue Salsa Queen, Gloria, and Champion D'Azul's El Presidente, Juarez. She has 3 sisters – the late Hilde (Godspeed sweet girl), Skipper and Dawn. She also has one brother, Shinzou (means Jonathan). If you want to see more photos of these cute pups, please check out Shinzou’s blog, or the D’Azul Siberian's blog.
Here they all are the day they were born:

Where does the "ship" come from? Every pup in Gloria and Juarez’s litter was named after ships on the hit show the
Deadliest Catch on the Discovery channel. How cool is that? My sister was named after the ship, the Cornelia Marie. For those of you who don’t know what the show is about,
Wikipedia says, “
The show is a documentary-style reality television series that documents the events aboard fishing boats in the Bering Sea during the Alaskan king crab and Opilio crab fishing seasons.”
Since Cornelia Marie is originally from Missouri, we drove to Memphis, TN to pick her up. I have never been to TN before (and getting there required me to go through Alabama and Mississippi, two more states I have never been to), so this is just another state to add to the states that I have been to.
Anyroo, here are a few photos of our meet and greet in Memphis! (FYI, Cornelia Marie is the red and white). Her and her sisters had play time before crashing out in their crate!

Please join Tia and myself in welcoming the newest member of our pack, Cornelia Marie. Stay tuned on Tuesdays, otherwise known as
The Harbor Report (with Cornelia Marie), when Cornelia Marie will take over the blog!
Hugs,
Sitka, Tia, and Cornelia Marie
