Harbor Report: Fixed Edition

Zzzzzzz.... oh Woo! Hey every one!

Dutch Harbor, AK
Current Conditions: 46F, 8C, Partly Cloudy
(which is about what it is here in Georgia without the clouds)

I am home from being fixed. I am tired and grumpy. They said I did really good at the hospital and they did not want me to leave. My sweet vet tech said to my mom when she came to get me this morning that "NO, she can't leave". Turns out she has a Siberian herself! How khool is that?

When mom and dad got an update on my yesterday afternoon around 2pm, they were told I was bouncing around in my kennel and apparently the anesthesia didn't have the same effect on me like other pups (who were still sleeping). This morning they told my mom that I was ADORABLE! Awww, that was very sweet.

Here I am on the ride home...

I was really vocal on the drive home. I didn't stop until mom reached her hand back to touch me. That made me very happy. Oh, I forgot to tell you all, I got purple stitches! You know purple is my signature color, ha roooo!

I was so happy to be home. Everything was the way I left it and Sitka was VERY happy to see me. Her tail was going 90 to nothing! Here I am haing some water in my kennel.

Well friends... I am getting the heavy eye. I think I better go take a nappy. I am now all fixed and can now heal. I am not messing with the stitches at all. I am just a bit itchy where they shaved my fur. I keep trying to scratch with my back foot. No worries. Mom watched and the paw is not even close to the stitches.

Puppy Woos.... Zzzzzzzz

Harbor Report: 6 Month Birthday Edition

WOOOO

Dutch Harbor, AK
Current Conditions: 39F, 4C, Overcast

Hey friends! I hope you all are having a great Tuesday! Today is a very special day! See, today I am 6 months old! Can you believe how fast I am growing up? I am getting to be a big girl. Well I wanted to share with you all a very special package that I received for my 6 month birthday. You remember that I am a D'Azul Siberian, right? Well my first human mama sent me a very fun 6 month birthday box!!! Each toy had a sweet little note with our names on it. But before I get to what she sent Sitka and I, I want to share a very special gift for my older sister, Tia.

Look at this beautiful handmade ball that Mama at D'Azul's made for Tia.

Tia immediately went to smelling on the ball. She told mom that she smelled at least the scent of 13 Siberians! She really liked this ball. Here are some photos of her enjoying her ball. The last photo she was not too happy about.

Wasn't that sweet? Tia has been carrying the toy all over the bedroom. She is even tempting me with it, but mom says that I can't play with it because I may eat it. Now to our sea creatures...

YES! Look at this giant sting ray! It is so fun to play tug of war with.

Here I am with my sting ray and Sitka with her sea horse...

Now Switch!!!

The Sting Ray was very fun to play fetch with (yes, I fetch just like Dave does).

As soon as I ran into the den, Sitka stole the sting ray from me... so I stole it back and went and had a good giggle.
The one of the funnest parts of the day... I got to give Mr. Sea Horse a bath!!!

Wow Mama at D'Azul's, you know how to pick out some fun toys! I have enjoyed playing when them and squeaking them in mom's ears!!! We all thank you very much for the special toys you sent to celebrate my 6 month birthday!!!

Friends, I have one more thing to tell you all. Apparently next Monday I am going in to be fixed. I have read several posts about some of you having to be fixed. I am still trying to figure out what they are going to fix. They tell mom that I have to spend the night. So there may not be an "official" Harbor Report next Tuesday, but Sitka said she would keep you all posted on my surgery.

Growing up...

Hey every pup and kitty. I hope that you all are having a great evening and are getting ready for a cool weekend!!!

My little Sister is growing so fast. Do you know that next Tuesday she will be 6 months? Hard to believe eh? Mom was taking some photos of us today with a very special package (you will have to view in to next Tuesday's Harbor Report - Oh, Cornelia Marie says she is sorry for not posting this week). Do you remember this photo? Look at how small my little sissy is. Wasn't she an adorable puppy? Look at her now. Look at how fast she is growing!

I just can not believe that she is almost as big as me! Mom had her weighed about a month ago and she was 29.1 lbs. Mom's guess is that she is around 35 lbs now. Mom says that she keeps meaning to take us both by the vets just for a weigh in, but she hasn't done it yet. Perhaps this weekend. I mean, we have to know how much Cornelia Marie weighs for when she turns 6 months old, right?

Well, I best get back to playing with my little sister. You know what they say... a Good Puppy is a Tired Puppy.... or is it a Tired Puppy is a Good Puppy. Well either way, I love her!

Hugs,
Sitka

The Harbor Report: Tail Edition

Woooooo!!!!!

Dutch Harbor, AK
Current Conditions: 43F, 6C, Mostly Cloudy

Do you remember the other day when Storm posted this cool photo of her with the Sunset? Well, mom was able to capture a similar photo of me looking out at our neighbors house from our screened porch. I love Storm and I think it is cool that I have a photo like hers :)

Porch Fun!

Woooo! Sitka here :) A few days ago, it was nice and cool and Cornelia Marie and I got some Porch Time. We had so much fun snootering the air and supervising our neighbors dogs. We will have to introduce you to them some time. They are two Rat Terriers named Rosco and Maybelle. Both are super fun to talk with.

So, I am going to share with you all some photos of us that Mom took. Some may need commentary.

Could there be a squirrel?????

Cornelia Marie attempted to get under the chair.... One day she won't fit and I think she will be upset.

Ahhhh..... snootering the breeze....

Cornelia Marie had to smell EVERYTHING! Oh... see the pretty pink flower? The Army of Four (and their parents) sent that over to mom when her Nana passed away. Wasn't that so sweet???

Cornelia Marie is such a HAM!!!!

Hehehe.... this is what I would look like if Cornelia Marie's body was attached to my head. HA ROOO (Ammy, did you enjoy that?).

Again... CM Hamming it up...

The little fluff ball literally watches everything that I do....

Wait... I think we see another squirrel.... possibly a chipmunk.

Well, I hope you enjoyed these photos. Tata and see ya soon!
Hugs,
Sitka
