The Vets....

Wooo Friends...

It happened. I went to the vets office. I thought something was fishy because I had been reading that alot of you had been going for your annual check ups. I guess my time was up, ha roo!

Humm... I am supposed to go through the door straight ahead, but the door to the left that leaves the office looks good too....

Here I am checking out the exam room. Mmmm treats!

Waiting patiently... but when they came to get me, I refused to go with them. I put on ALL four breaks, ha roo!

So after the poking, prodding, and stealing my blood, I got my all clear from my sweet vet. OH! Thank goodness I did my business this morning because they used that for a fecal float instead of poking me in the furry you know what! So, that is a good thing right?

Anyroo - Happy for the good report and I am done with the vets for another year :)

We wanted to give our sincere sympathy to Dakota and her family. Dakota, our dear sweet friend, crossed the bridge today. She was shown the up most respect today (which is very hard to do) and her family allowed her to go wait for her them at the Bridge. May God help Dakota's family through this tough time. We will be here for our dear friends now and in the coming days, weeks and months.

Godspeed Dakota. Wear your silver harness with pride and run free of pain.

Here are a few of our favorite photos of Dakota.

Pineapple Wednesday

Wooo to my friends!

This weekend I was introduced to a Pineapple. Let me introduce you.... Here is the Pineapple.

Doesn't it look cool? I have never seen one of these before. Mom asked me to sit and she let me smell it. Mmmmmm smells so sweet!

HEY! What is the green stuff! Let me see what THAT tastes like.

Ouchie! It kind of is prickly! Let's see what Sitka thinks about it.

Ouchie! I think it got her too. So she went in for a smell of the bottom part of the pineapple. I think she likes it too!

So, I patiently watched Mom as she cut it up and I did a little woo for her to let her know I wanted to taste it! Not to her surprise, I LOVED pineapple. I also assisted in helping her cut up strawberries and cantaloupe. No photos, sorry, but I LOVED those fruits as well.

Happy Hump day to all! The weekend is almost here! Woo Hoo!

P.S. Please keep our dear friend, Dakota, in your thoughts and prayers. She has had a rough go of it and really could use some vibes... for her family too. Please stop by and visit her.

Have to get a job...

Apparently Mom said I need to get a job to pay for all of the Happy Heart cookies I eat. Anyone looking for a Certified Ear Cleaner? I promise I do a thorough job!

She is home!

Hello friends!

Mom is home from her weekend away with her girl friends! They went down to the beach :) We sure would have liked to go to the beach too. I mean, we are girls. How come we didn't get to go? We asked mom this, but she did not offer up an answer that suited us, ha roo! Anyroo, we got to see some of the photos she took and thought we would share some of the tasty and scenic ones :)

Here are a few beach shots!

While Mom was out taking some photos of the beach, there was a guy out fishing as the tide was going out. Guess what? He caught a baby hammerhead shark! Let's take a look (you can click to enlarge). Oh, in case you are wondering, he did let it go back into the ocean.

Mmmmm now on to the food! The first night mom had scallops! Her friend had Tuna. Look at it! Isn't it yummy?

Mom had two tasty looking dishes. First is a Shrimp and Scallop dinner, and the second is a Calamari Taco! Mmmmm.

Mom went out to the pier on the last night at the beach and caught these incredible photos of the sun setting.

Well.... hope you enjoyed the photos! And hope you all had a great weekend as well.

Do you all remember when I helped Dad plant seeds? Well a tragic thing happened and the seeds never came up. So, we had to redo all our work. It paid off.

I wanted to share with you my tomatillos. They have lots of blooms on them, which will become the fruit! Mom is pleased with them. She says they have never grown any before. Let's take a look at them. (you can click to enlarge)

Do you see how the bloom folds backwards on the last photo? That becomes the husk that covers the tomatillo! Cool eh?

P.S. We would like to thank the AO4 for giving us this cool award! Thanks so much!

We would also like to thank Khyra for this lovely award! Thanks so much!

Well Happy Wednesday....

Wooo Everyone!

Guess what we got today? WOOSCOTTI! Mom finally got around to making us some, and WOW! It is really yummy!

Mom didn't make it all pretty like Steve and Kat's Mom does, but it was still very tasty!!! So, let's check them out on the cooling rack...

Looks like a heaping mess, right? I think our mom needs to take pointers from S&K's Mom. Now, let's see how it tastes....

Sitka is the BEST taste tester because she is patient. All the photos of me taking my first bites are a blur. Wanna guess where Sitka took her Wooscotti??

If you guessed the sofa, you would be correct. Now, let's check out where I had my Wooscotti....

Mmmm it is so good. See the rug I am on? Mom got us a new one for the den but she made one BIG mistake. Do you know? What color is the rug? Black! Our fur sticks to it and makes it gray, HA ROOO!

Anyroo, hope you all are having a great Saturday! Woo to you later :)

Yes, all is ok!

Hello everyone...

Wow! It has been a month since we blogged. Mom said that May was a BUSY month for her with dance recitals and all. But now she is on summer hours at work so she has NO excuse to help us keep you all updated and stay updated with all of you. We have over 350 unread posts in Google Reader.... we promise to read all, but we may not comment on all. Hope you will understand. Oh, and to add to the craziness of May, we had to send off the Mac for keyboard repair. It seems the T kept coming off and needed to be fixed. Anyroo, we were without a computer for about a week. Let me tell you, it was ROUGH! And lastly, mom got a new camera (yes, again!). She will not stay out of our faces now. She got a Nikon D60 (and you will recall she just got a Nikon CoolPix back in December). Will we ever escape the photo taking?

We would like to share a few photos (taken with the D60 of course) with you all to show you what we have been up.

Tia has been busy! She has been serving in her role as Queen, allowing Cornelia Marie to sniff her, and she has been assisting in the kitchen (quality control of the shrimp)!
Sitka has been prepping her portfolio for modeling agencies. What do you think?

Additionally.... Sitka has claimed the Mac since it has been back home.

Cornelia Marie has also been working on her portfolio!

Lastly, while outside, we tend to find some cool stuff. Below we have a Bumblebee (that CM caught) feeding on the Butterfly Bush, a beautiful butterfly that followed us up on the deck one day, and the sun shining from behind the clouds.

And I suppose we saved the best for last - although that statement varies pending on who may be speaking.... Sitka found this in the yard. CM came over to check it out and ROLLED on it. Mom removed CM from her roll she was in and discovered a baby corn snake! YUCKOLA.

Well our friends - this is about it. Hope all is well with you and we will be catching up VERY soon.

Meows, Hugs, and Puppy Woos,
Tia, Sitka, and Cornelia Marie
