How fitting that the photo that comes up is of me... well sorta. Now, here is the story. Dad went upstairs one afternoon. H spotted a lump under the covers on the bed. He called for Mom to bring the camera. He took photos of the lump under the bed. Then came around the bed to lift the covers to take a quick photo of yours truly under the covers. Instead, he got this. A bolt of fur not happy because I was disturbed during nap time!

My Sweet 16

Meow!!! I hope everyone is having a meow-tastic day!!!

Today is a VERY special day. It is my 16th birthday! Can you believe it? My sweet 16! So I CAN drive, right? I did ask my mom for a new car but she did not come through with one. Humm.

Anymeow... I think today is a day for celebration. So you all get our your party hats and come on over to my place. We will be partying ALL day and night!!!! There will be cake, ice cream, HAM, CHICKEN, TURKEY, livergreat, etc. You name it, we will have it!

And finally.... all of my SMS buds wished me a Happy Sweet 16 up at that Cabin that I didn't get to go to last weekend (I think you can click to enlarge and I hope I didn't forget any SMSers... if I did, I am sorry).
Ahhh, now I am gonna kick back and relax and beg mom for ham, turkey, and chicken all day. I sure hope the beggin' works!!!! Cross your paws!

One Year Ago....

Meow Everyone! I hope that everyone had a nice weekend!

A year ago today, I was taken to the vets office because I was one sick kitty. You can read here, here, here, here, here, here, and here for all kinds of info about my pancreas. I was one sick kitty and in the hospital for a week. I wanted to share with you all some photos from when I was there a year ago today....

Now, look at me! I am one healthy kitty. I wanted to post today because we are celebrating a wonderful year and looking forward to many more.

Can You Believe it?

Wooooo! I hope every pup, kitty, and hamster are doing well!

Cornelia Marie and I wanted to let you all know what we did last weekend. See for Christmas, mom gave dad a little card and on that card it said that we were going away for the weekend to a cabin in the mountains! WOO! Our first trip with the little one. So we went to this place called Blue Ridge in Georgia. We had SO MUCH FUN! Mom took over 350 photos in three days! Good gracious. She never put the camera down.

Anyroo, we arrived to this cute little cabin last Friday to a warm 23 degrees F :) That night, it got down to 7 and we were ALL thrilled!
Upon entering the cabin, Cornelia Marie did something that we were not allowed to do... but she did it anyways!
Then Cornelia Marie settled in for a nice little nap in front of the fire and I stretched out on the sofa!!!
After a good night sleep, we awoke to a beautiful sunrise!

Heading into town, we made a discovery. Look at this. DAVE has his OWN road. How cool is that????
After we went into this cool store to get us some yummy treats, we set out to find a double waterfall. It was on this hike that dad thinks I am a mountain dog, HA ROOOO!

Wasn't that waterfall pretty? Oh, I almost forgot. As we were heading back to the cabin, we crossed this really neat bridge. Only one car could go across it at a time!

Now... we mentioned cookies. Mom got us these cookies that were called S'mores! MMMMmmmmmmm! So good and very nice to enjoy before the fire.

But wait! There is still one last COOL thing to tell you about. It SNOWED while we were at the cabin. We had headed back to town and mom was sitting in the car with us as Dad got dinner and sleet started to fall. Dad came out and helped mom get us out because it started to SNOW! Can you see it on our fur?

After dinner, more and more snow kept coming. It was so cool! Cornelia Marie tried to jump into the air and catch flakes. Look at us in our Puplights! We sure appreciate Steve and Kat telling us about them!

By morning, we had gotten about 1/4 of an inch of snow. How cool is that!

The snow tapered off from falling and mom got this really cool photo of the mountains.

On our drive home, the roads were kinda messy in some areas. This was a really scary curve. I didn't appreciate it. We went slip and sliding around but made it around just fine!

We were so happy to get home and see Tia. Our granna had come to check in on her while we were away. It took us a day to recover from the three day trip. We did alo of walking and hiking and snoofing and stuff. We go back in March and are super excited. There was so much that we didn't get to do, so we look forward to the next trip!!!

Well, just wanted to share some photos. It was hard going through the 350 plus photos to put photos in this post! Whew! Oh, and next Monday and Tuesday are special days ... so stay tuned!

Meet Wonky! Dave likes Wonky. Dave chewed off and ate an ear (I think) and his Wonky went to Wonky Heaven. Mom found a Wonky in our house. Mom let me have Wonky. Dave, wanna come over and play with Wonky?

Hey Ammy...

Puppy Woos!!!

Today, I want to dedicate my post to my soon to be sister-in-law, Ammy! See, she does something that my Mom callds the "Ammy Ears" and she looks SO CUTE doing them. See this post for an example!

Last night, I looked at mom....

And I asked her if she would give me some good Sibe lovin'!

Then with some assistance from mom, I was able to accomplish the "Ammy Ears"! Don't I look just like Ammy? I think Ammy is so pretty!

HA ROO! See, mom and dad went to Savannah yesterday and we got to hang out with our Granna some. We had so much fun and got so much lovin'! When mom and dad got home, Sitka asked her to take a photo of her for her Zim! Sigh. Those are such the love birds. So, Zim, here is your photo.

So, what do you all think of my "Ammy Ears"? Do you think I will be able to do them one day on my own like Ammy does?

I hope you all have a great Sunday! Mom goes back to work tomorrow. We are not too excited about that. Plus, we are supposed to get some storms (small "s" storms of course). Well, I better scoot so I can spend the day lounging with the 'rents!

Happy 9th Birthday Zim!!!

Wooo and Happy New Years to everyone!!!

Today is a very special day... see it is my boyfriend's birthday. So, I wanted to dedicate my post today to my handsome red headed boy, Zim, and share with you some of my favorite photos of him!

Here he is helping his Mom with the bed!!! Oh so snuggle-y!

Zim takes pride in assisting with every aspect of the house. Here he is helping his Dad do some workouts!!!
